Blast From The Past, And Fun With Family

Quiet campsite
Heading out in Greg's boat
Our first stop in New England was Clearwater Campground in Meridith, New Hampshire. This is where we McMillens used to go camping when we were little, and you know, it still looks almost exactly the same as it did back in the 70s. We met up here with Anne’s siblings Linda, Greg, and Karen and their families. Our campsites were side-by-side, making it easy to visit back and forth. Greg brought his boat for tubing and water-skiing, as well as a peaceful early morning coffee/tea cruises. We squeezed under the canopies and tents when it teemed with rain the first afternoon, cooked marshmallows over the campfires for s’mores, swam in the lake (a one-minute walk from our campsites) and played on the beach, got make-your-own-sundaes at the Kellerhaus in Weirs Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee, and had an all-around great time.

The adults: Chris, Greg, Meg, Paul, Karen, Linda, Bill, Anne, Dianne, and Ellen

  1. Gee, let's see, which of those people are related to Anne. Hmm, you'd just never know, would you? :) Absolutely great pic. Would be a great gift for your mom, Anne. Loved all your pics and loved seeing you guys when you were here. Hurry back! Congrats on having your story published.
