…captained by people who apparently don’t realize that, when
you cut your engine fifty feet upwind of an anchored boat in a brisk breeze,
you will drift down on said anchored boat. The only reason they didn’t hit us
is that Chris pushed them off of our bow sprit. Mind you, we were the only boat
anchored in the middle of a huge open area.
Their excuse was that they were trying to help a sailing student who, by
the way, was already being amply helped by the sailing instructor. The way this boat was going, they would have
crushed the sailor between their boat and ours.
It almost makes you wish that they had
put out their windshield on our anchor – maybe it would make them think next
time.
they definitely lived up to their name - you some times wonder where common sense is any more. Haven't been on your blog for a while as we've been busy renovation a house near Saratoga NY - hope to get back to Tsamaya in April 2016. Best wishes to you both!
