Check Out My New Article in Blue Water Sailing Magazine!
If you've never read Blue Water Sailing magazine, try it out. It's got great articles, and on the last page has a feature called Blue Horizons, which highlights a cruiser's favored port or anchorage. In the April edition, one of my blue horizons is featured: Chatham Bay on Union Island in the Grenadines. We've been here several times, and always enjoy it. There's good snorkeling (it's the only place we've ever seen a goldspotted eel), great thigh-weakening walks with far-reaching views, and terrific little bars/snack shacks on the beach with friendly proprietors (that's a picture of Chris with Vanessa, who owns the Sun Beach & Eat Local Restuarant & Bar, in the upper right). Blue Water Sailing is sold at marine stores and chandleries, and perhaps at book stores.

Will definitely have to put this on our list of places to stop when we are in the Caribbean again. We have been to Union Island but not to this bay - looks like a great one! Thanks for the suggestion and congratulations on getting into Blue Water Sailing - it is a great magazine.
